100 Days of Dev: Series 4 / 2020 (Days 71-80) Endgame Approaches
We’re in the end-game now.
Looking at project work completed in the latest 10 days:
1) dogeDIG/GameDev
Mostly just boring old note organising and planning is whats happening here right now. Im keen to get back into putting serious time into dogeDIG after taking most of this 100 Day challenge to work on other game dev projects and Mars projects. Its a shame to not be working so heavily on dogeDIG, but at the same time Im getting other projects out of the way ahead of the 2nd half of this year, so I know I’ll get back into it soon enough.
Additionally Ive started using OneNote much more, and Ive found is perfect for my style of note taking, brainstorming of ideas and just in general organizing thoughts. You can also use it for checklists, but I think I still prefer Trello for task tracking, even if a bit is creeping into OneNote as well.. It feels good though, to finally have a note & task taking solution which I feel works across all the types of projects I work on (plus both programs are avaliable at all times on my phone for when Im away from my PC)

2) Mars Project(s)!
Still putting a lot (majority) of my time towards reading, writing and blending everything Mars. Lots of time being put into Blender work as well. I’ll go into more detail in the final post(s) perhaps… so until then.

Thats it for days 71-80. Adding 11 hours to the hour counter:
Total dev-hours for the challenge overall: 148 hours & 50 minutes

Lots of work done – progress was made, even if not exactly what you originally had in mind. Progress WAS made. I think I need to start another challenge. I’m overwhelmed with stuff I need to do right now. Some solid direction would be great – to go through a ton of my stuff, formulate a process to sell the unwanted on eBay, major clear out of cupboards, and the like. Yep, time to plan – thanks, Alex!
