Whoa Oh! Livin’ on a prayer!

 

Let’s start with a quick summary of the 10 days just gone:

Alright, alright, so this 10% was not my best yet. I had issues on two days this week, barely managing to get over 30 minutes done on those days. It’s had a slightly negative effect on my average time, as it was rising steadily before this week just gone.

The rest of the week was ok, but it definitely impacted on how I felt my goals went.

I did, however, meet some of the goals I set for myself last update:

TTC: Chapter 9 finished – Done successfully.
TTC: Completely write Chapter 10 – 1800 words, but still not finished unfortunately
DnD: Complete any remaining work for final game sessions – In progress, session’s been delayed giving me more time.
DnD: Continue to write the next one shot! Must be ready for October. – Work in progress, but nowhere near where I’d like it to be.
SWRPG: Session 33 Part 2 – DONE! And let me tell you, our campaign ended with a bang.

Day 44 of 100

I also started two side art-projects, taking up some painting. Although I did not count the time spent on those toward my challenge totals, I did add them as goals to get completed this 10-day period. And I did. Now I need to find more miniatures to paint.

Project Krothurdaan is the shapechanged form of my D&D sorcerer. A young bronze dragon.
Thanks to ADEdge for assisting with the 3D model’s issues. I’m not good with 3D programs.

But, I’d also like to look at the last 50 days all up.

Let’s go over some of what I’ve done in this time:

  • The Tymencian Chronicle –
    • Chapters 6-10 of have been written
    • An entire redesign of the world and magic systems
    • Chapters 1-5 have been edited to match the new world
  • Dungeons and Dragons –
    • Sessions 33 through 36 have been written
    • Final encounter has been designed
    • Countless magic items crafted, backstoried and balanced
    • Darkwolf’s rise to power has been documented
    • “The Manor” one shot has begun production
  • Darkstar’s Tale –
    • Review of the first 48 chapters
    • Chapter 49 completed
    • Project shelved. Possibly indefinitely.
  • Star Wars: A Darker Conflict –
    • Episodes 32, 33a and 33b edited and refined.
    • Campaign summary in progress
    • An epic conclusion to an epic two years.
  • Others –
    • Researched more on my novel writing, especially governments and magic systems
    • Projects “Gary” and “Krothurdaan” printed, painted and finished. (For fun, not for 100DC)

I feel I’ve made some serious progress on those projects of mine that had needed dusting off, as well as the drive to resume creative writing on a more regular basis.

I’d like to thank anyone who’s supported me during this, and especially those who believed that I could make it this far! Here’s to the next 50 days!
