100 Days of Dev: Series 4 / 2020 (Days 11-20) #LD46!
Another 10 days down, this 10 days included the following work:
1) Forever Shores Multiplayer (FSMP)
Continued working on the multiplayer implementation in forever shores, managed to get most of the code and game setup for spawning in multiple players-

2) Ludum Dare Warmup
With Ludum Dare on the horizon I spent the days leading up to the jam prepping and planning, which included a bunch more VCV rack tutorials and rewriting the state machine for my Ludum Dare 44 game (now Forever Shores) character controller – both good to do ahead of the FSMP multiplayer implementation and as warmup for Ludum Dare.
3) Ludum Dare 46!
Heres the big one, my first gamejam for 2020!
It was quite a big one too, I ended up falling a big behind in my original plan to enter the COMPO (48 hour version of the game jam) and so the backup as always was to keep going and do the JAM (72 hour version).
And in the end I came through with a game complete enough to submit! There were a couple of big pivots in the first day or so, so the game I ended up with was quite different to the one I originally had in mind – but thats a lot better than sticking with 1 idea and bombing out! So Im pretty happy overall. More info on the game, plus a link to play/download here:

Ill likely do a proper post-mortem on the gamejam/game in the future, either in the coming weeks or later this year ahead of Ludum Dare 47.
But for now this twitter thread should cover any extra info:

And finally, a summary of where I spend my hours for those 72 Hours/3 days of Ludum Dare 46.

Thats all for days 11-20.
Total hours recorded: 53 hours, 50 minutes
