When you’re drawn to the ground by the dragons…

Would you raise up your head, would you gaze at the sky?

PHEW. DAY 70 of 100!

Only one month to go. THE END IS NIGH! REPENT! REPENT!

Work’s been tough these past few weeks, and it’s gonna get tougher due to the time of year and the actual roles of my job. But I’m still finding time for the important things. Like this challenge… and gaming.

Let’s take a look at what we’ve gotten up to these past 10 days:

So! 11 chapters of this damn novel done already. My end-game goal was to write “12-15 chapters” so I’m on track to complete that nicely.

The OneNote notebook that I use for this novel is beginning to fill up as well. New tabs and pages are added nearly every couple of days.

My next D&D campaign has started to take a larger amount of time now that Star Wars  is done and my current campaign is winding down. I’ve been told I still have a year or more to plan it, buuuuuuuuut why not get it done now and do revisions for a year?

We’ve finally hit 90+ hours of work put into this challenge. Hoping to clear 120 hours by day 100, but we’ll see. My average time spent is still dropping unfortunately.

In other news!

I’ve launched the weekly series of posts that will contain paragraphs and exerpts from my chapters to try and share some of my story with the greater public who actually read this blog.

The first one can be found here: “Stick ’em with the pointy end.”

Anyway, that’s it for the moment. I’ll be back during the week with another chapter exerpt, and at Day 80 with another overall update!

P.S: Sorry, no gifs this update. I’d like to blame technical issues, but that’d be a lie. I was just lazy.
