A Second Attempt…

I’ve already been blasted with more work this year than the last 3 combined. So it’d be no stretch to say I’m feeling the pressure of staying on top of my own productive output and standard for quality. For the first time in my life I’m officially a full-time concept artist, and while I couldn’t be happier about that, I’m scared, and can already feel those little self-doubt demons knocking on my door. So with that in mind, it’s time to make another attempt at this 100 Day Challenge thing.

Last year’s attempt at this challenge was an absolute failure, but one I’ve learned a huge amount from. Since then, I’ve picked up a lot of new methods of working and staying organised, time management, and balancing my (sometimes insane) lifestyle.

SO. For this year’s challenge, I’m diving into getting a concept / digital art focused YouTube channel started, where I’ll make narrated time-lapsed art demos. I plan on integrating the channel with both my ArtStation and Instagram, where I will post the finished artworks, that will hopefully bring traffic to my videos. If I can get all of this working as I envision, it will mean I’m essentially feeding 6 birds with 1 scone. But more explanation on that later.

Halfway through March, I will post an official progress update. Stay tuned!

I just wanted to start off with this quick note for now, and a quote from Bruce Lee I came across in January that lit a fire under my ass.
