Phew! ONE HUNDRED DAYS OF WRITING done and dusted.
Alex, if you want to do this again, you’re on your own buddy!
It’s been long, it’s been rough. There’s a few times where I almost dropped out.
BUT! I persevered, I pushed on through, and I emerged victorious!
How did the last few days go? Let’s take a look!
Whew! so many things done, so much time spent.
And now for something completely different! SOME STATS!
127 and a half hours over 100 days. 1:16 spent on average each damned day. It honestly didn’t feel like that much most of the time. Other times it seemed to drag on forever though.
But for a second here, I want to take you on a journey of some of the primary things I’ve accomplished these past 100 days…
- WRAPPED UP STAR WARS: A DARKER CONFLICT
- This was a large one. A Star Wars TTRPG game that had gone on for nearly two years. A lot of effort went into redesigning the end-game for the players and the story around their final few episodes
- DESIGNED THE ENDING FOR “DAWN OF THE DRAGON HORDE”
- Another TTRPG, this time Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. The players are closing in on their final goal, and because of that, new maps were required, NPCs, plot points, extended lore archives. Lots of writing was done there.
- 14 CHAPTERS WRITTEN FOR “THE TYMENCIAN CHRONICLE”
- Not to mention a complete redesign of the world, civilisations, magic, chapter structure. The list went on.
- SERIOUS WORK DONE ON “CONCLAVE OF TREHAUG” (working title)
- This is my next major Dungeons and Dragons campaign. A lot of design time went into the governments, leaders, factions and other things I cant discuss here.
- SOME D&D ONE-SHOT GAMES WERE DESIGNED OR WORKED ON.
- Yeah there’s a few of these in the works. One day they might be ready for playing…
- The Night’s Watch of Blackwater, Part 2
- Complete Terry Pratchett parody, it’s true. Mayhem and chaos reign supreme in this world still.
- The Mystery at Daereux Manor
- This is a halloween/thriller themed one shot. Could be ready for the season, maybe…
- Deinos Games
- This one is currently on a need-to-know style lockdown 😉
- The Night’s Watch of Blackwater, Part 2
- Yeah there’s a few of these in the works. One day they might be ready for playing…
- (Not part of the challenge, but still accomplished during the period:) BUILT THE NEW WORKSTATION: “THE DRAGON”
- Yeah, wanted a new computer, so slowly built one over the last few months. This is my reward to myself for the efforts expended in staying true to the challenge. It still requires a new GPU, but the rest of it is built and already tweaked to how I wanted.
That’s a basic run down of course. I might do a more indepth look at everything accomplished, plus a whole lot of time-spent stuff, but for now I think I’ll be taking a break from this and from writing for a bit. I’m worn out!

Ehh ehh ehhhhhhh! No way, I expect you’ll be first in line for the next challenge. Give it a few weeks break and then we’ll get another one going 😛
Take a break for sure, but Id recommend slowly getting back into it again (as Im sure you will with all the D&D anyway), because its easy for a 2 week break to turn into months D:
Awesome effort tho! Super productive 127 hours and I bet you’re well and truly feeling back into the swing of writing again. The wrap-up for A Darker Conflict was great, a worthy end to such a long running & dramatic campaign (considering how long we expected it to go).
